Ombré Margherita Pizza

This ombre Margherita pizza is bound to get you some attention and compliments. The key is to get the right tomatoes. The more different shades of heirloom tomato you’ve got, the more spectacular the ombre effect.

Ingredients

1 Pizza Dough
4 tablespoon Extra-Virgin Olive Oil
1 cup sliced Purple Grape Tomatoes
1 cup sliced Green Grape Tomatoes
1 cup sliced Yellow Green Tomato
1 cup shredded Monterey Jack Cheese
Directions HIDE IMAGES
STEP 1
Place Pizza Dough (1) on floured surface.
STEP 2
Press and roll into desired shape.
STEP 3
Brush with half of the Extra-Virgin Olive Oil (2 tablespoon).
STEP 4
Place on grill, oiled side down. Grill on a medium heat for five minutes.
STEP 5
Brush remaining Extra-Virgin Olive Oil (2 tablespoon) on top side.
STEP 6
Add Monterey Jack Cheese (1 cup).
STEP 7
Tear the Mozzarella Cheese Ball (1) into pieces and spread over the Monterey Jack.
STEP 8
Layer sliced Purple Grape Tomatoes (1 cup), Red Grape Tomatoes (1 cup), Green Grape Tomatoes (1 cup), and Yellow Green Tomato (1 cup) onto pizza in an ombre pattern.
STEP 9
Tear Fresh Basil (1 cup) into pieces and put on top of tomatoes.
STEP 10
Cook for another 3 minutes, until crust is golden brown. Serve and enjoy!
