step 1
Chop Bananas (2) and add to a food processor. Pulse 5-6 times, then let run for 10 seconds or until bananas are smooth and creamy.
step 2
Add in Unsweetened Cocoa Powder (4 Tbsp), Ground Cinnamon (as needed), Cayenne Pepper (as needed), Vanilla Extract (as needed), and Maple Syrup (1 Tbsp) and blend until mixture is smooth and well combined.
step 3
Add in Dark Chocolate Chunks (4 Tbsp) and pulse another 5-7 times, or until chocolate chunks are mixed in, but still in pieces for a crunch.
step 4
Add mixture to freezer-safe container and put in freezer for at least 30 minutes. The mixture is like a soft-serve ice cream after about 20 minutes but firms up like hard scoop ice cream after about 45 minutes to an hour.
