I'm always on the look out for a good sandwich since I bring lunch to work a couple of times a week. That's where this smashed chickpea avocado sandwich comes in. I made an avocado feta dip a little while ago and I kept thinking it would make a good sandwich spread.

Canned Chickpeas , rinsed, drained
1 clove
Garlic , grated
1
Lemon , juiced
to taste
Feta Cheese
to taste

Directions

Step 1
Rinse and drain the Canned Chickpeas (2 cups) and pat dry on a paper towel. Juice the Lemon (1) and grate the Garlic (1 clove) .
Step 2
Place chickpeas, Avocado (1) , grated garlic, lemon juice, Salt (to taste) , Ground Black Pepper (to taste) and Feta Cheese (to taste) in your food processor and blend until spreadable.
Step 3
Spread mixture onto bread and top with your favorite toppings.
Step 4
Enjoy!
