Grilled Halloumi Burgers
Halloumi cheese is a Greek sheep’s milk cheese that hails from the island of Cyprus. Cool and refreshing, tzatziki combines wonderfully with the hot, crisp halloumi.
1 pckg Flatbreads
24 slice Cheese
16 oz Tzatziki
to taste Lettuce
to taste Tomato
to taste Pickled Red Onions
Start by heating your grill or a grill pan - once heated, grease the grates or the pan well with oil.
Heat the Flatbreads on the grill until hot, reserve them on a plate covered with a towel to keep them warm.
Place the halloumi slices on the grill and cook until nicely browned on each side, approximately 3-5 minutes per side.
Spread each Foldit with about 1/3 cup of Tzatziki, add Lettuce leaves, Tomato, grilled halloumi and Pickled Red Onions.
Fold and serve. Enjoy!
