Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C).
In a large mixing bowl, beat Brown Sugar (1 cup) and Egg (1) with an electric mixer until smooth. Add Vanilla Extract (1 teaspoon) and Butter (1/2 cup). Beat again.
Add All-Purpose Flour (1 cup) and Salt (1/2 teaspoon). Mix with spoon until well combined. Stir in Mini Chocolate Chips (1/2 cup) and Finely Chopped Pecans (1/2 cup).
Pour into an 8-inch square baking pan that has been sprayed with Nonstick Cooking Spray (to taste).
Bake in the preheated oven until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean, about 20 minutes.
Cut into squares and transfer to a nice serving plate. Enjoy!
