Don't put the whole lemon or orange in the slow cooker. If you do, it will make the whole batch way too bitter to drink.

Cooking Instructions

Step 1
Pour the Apple Cider (1 gallon) in the slow cooker and add the Cinnamon Stick (6), Peppercorns (1 tablespoon), Whole Clove (1 tablespoon)Whole Allspice (1 tablespoon), and the juice and peel from a Orange (1).
Step 2
Set slow cooker to low for 8 hours.
