Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
Into a small jug, add the
Water (1/2 cup)
Instant Dry Yeast (1/4 tsp)
Granulated Sugar (1 pinch)
. Stir through and set aside for about ten minutes until it is nice and firm.
On a mixing bowl, mix together sift the
All-Purpose Flour (1 cup)
Dried Mixed Herbs (1/2 Tbsp)
together with the yeast mixture. Mix together until you get a nice sticky dough.
Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes
Shape the dough into a sausage shape, and cut it into 16 pieces. Take each piece and roll it before your hands.
Lay your bread sticks on an oven plate. Brush each bread stick with some
Olive Oil (2 Tbsp)
, season with some
Salt (1/2 tsp)
, and bake inside an oven at 200 degrees C (400 degrees F) for about 15 minutes.
