Into a large mixing bowl, add the
Water (2 cups)
Instant Dry Yeast (1/2 Tbsp)
, and give the mix a gentle stir. Add the
Butter (6 1/4 cups)
Granulated Sugar (1 Tbsp)
Salt (1 Tbsp)
and mix everything together.
All-Purpose Flour (6 cups)
to the bowl, and stir it through until a nice paste forms. Then add the remaining flour while mixing the dough.
On an even surface, roll the dough out until it is half a centimeter thick.
Using any circular object(like a glass), cut circular pieces out from the dough
Transfer the muffins into baking trays, and sprinkle over with some
Cornmeal (to taste)
. Cover the trays with a clean kitchen towel for about half an hour to allow the muffins to rise.
When the time is almost up, preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
Bake the muffins inside a preheated oven for about 15 minutes
Leave the muffins on the tray for about five minutes, and transfer them to another dish or plate until they are completely cooled.
