Step 1
In a mixing bowl, mix the
Ground Lamb (2.2 lb)

Yellow Onion (1)

Garlic (1 clove)

Fresh Parsley (to taste)

Ground Cumin (1/2 Tbsp)

Ground Allspice (1 tsp)
, zest from
Lemon (1/8)
,
Breadcrumbs (1/2 cup)
, and
Egg (1)

Step 2
Season the mix with
Salt (to taste)
and
Ground Black Pepper (to taste)
. Take a tablespoon of the mix, and roll between your hands to make a mini meat ball. Flatten the ball to make a patty, and place it on a plate. Continue on with the rest of the mix.
Step 3
Grease a frying pan with a
Nonstick Cooking Spray (as needed)
, and heat it over medium heat. Cook the kaftas in batches for about five minutes on each side.
