This freshly made jam with no pectin added, requires less work in the kitchen, and is quite easy to prepare. It was so delicious that my friends gave me a thumbs up for it. This apple jam is perfect on toast or crackers, and of course in bakes!

Cooking Instructions

HIDE IMAGES
Step 1
Peel and core Red Apple (1 kilogram) and cut into cubes.
Step 2
Place apple cubes into a large pot and add Lemon Juice (2 1/2 tablespoon), Lemon (to taste), Apple Juice (225 gram), Granulated Sugar (200 gram), and Ground Cinnamon (1 teaspoon). Cook apple mixture for about 10 minutes over high heat.
Step 3
Turn to medium heat and continue to boil for another 20 minutes until apples are translucent, soft and liquid reduced to half and thick. Stirring occasionally to prevent burning.
Step 4
Lastly simmer at low heat for about 5-10 minutes and use a large spoon or wooden spoon to mash the apples.
Step 5
Ladle hot jam into sterilized bottles and tightly sealed by inverting them to cool. Then place them in the refrigerator for at least 2 days before consuming. Serve and enjoy!
