Cooking Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C)

In a large mixing bowl, combine the
Fresh Mixed Berries (4 cups)

Granulated Sugar (1/4 cup)
, 1 Tbsp
Lemon (1)
,
Corn Starch (1 Tbsp)
, and
Ground Cinnamon (1/2 tsp)
. Stir until the sugar is mostly dissolved, then set aside.

In another large bowl, combine the
All-Purpose Flour (1 1/2 cups)
,
Granulated Sugar (1/2 cup)
, and
Baking Powder (1/2 tsp)
.

Grate the
Salted Butter (1/2 cup)
into the flour mixture, making sure to toss flour over the pieces as you go so they don’t stick together.

Stir in the
Eggs (2)
. Once it has been absorbed, use your fingers to fully incorporate the ingredients. When you press the mixture together, it should form into small clumps.
6.
Press around half the mixture into a cast-iron skillet or other oven-safe dish. Top with the berry filling, then crumble the remaining mixture over the top.

Bake for 20-30 minutes. The top should be light golden brown, and the filling bubbling gently along the sides.

Remove from the oven and let cool for at least 5 minutes. Serve with ice cream!
