Step 1
To make the caramel sauce, add
Granulated Sugar (1/3 cup)
and
Water (1 Tbsp)
in a saucepan. Bring to a bubbly boil and simmer until it's browned.
Step 2
Pour the rest of the
Water (1 Tbsp)
into the pan and shut off the heat. Immediately transfer into your pudding cups before the sauce gets hard.
Step 3
In the same pot, warm
Milk (1 1/2 cups)
with
Earl Grey Tea (2 bags)
to infuse the flavor. Let it cool before using.
Step 4
Add in
Eggs (4)
,
Sweetened Condensed Milk (1/4 cup)
,
Vanilla Extract (1 tsp)
, and infused milk into a mixing bowl. Stir well.
Step 5
Then, strain through a strainer to make it smooth.
Step 6
Pour the egg mixture over into the cups. Cover with plastic wrap or aluminum foil while you preheat your steamer.
Step 7
Steam in medium heat for about 35 minutes.
Step 8
Stop the heat and let them cool in the steamer for 10 minutes before removing them.
Step 9
Serve warm or put in the fridge to serve cold.
