Take a pot and heat the
Olive Oil (1 dash)
over medium-high heat. Then add
Heirloom Tomatoes (3)
Garlic (6 cloves)
Fresh Basil (1/4 cup)
, cook for a few minutes or until they start to get fragrant.
Lemon Juice (2)
. Season the sauce with
Salt (2 pinches)
Crushed Red Pepper Flakes (2 pinches)
Let it simmer for about 15 minutes on medium heat.
In the meantime, take a second large pot with water, bring to a boil and add salt. Put in the
Spaghetti (1 lb)
and cook for about 8 minutes or until tender.
Before you drain the pasta water, scoop 1/2 cup of pasta water and pour into the pot of sauce, along with the
Grated Parmesan Cheese (1/2 cup)
Finally, toss the drained spaghetti into the sauce and stir until everything comes together.
Plate pasta, sprinkle with parmesan and garnish with lemon slices.
