This is the perfect last-minute thanksgiving side - but it sure doesn’t taste last minute! Creamy sweet potatoes are roasted, then tossed in sweet and spicy butter. Move over sweet potato casserole, there’s a new guy in town!
Cayenne Hot Sauce
Ground Black Pepper
Italian Flat-Leaf Parsley
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees C (180 degrees F).
Sweet Potatoes (9 cups)
to 2 parchment-lined baking sheets. Drizzle
Olive Oil (2 Tbsp)
and sprinkle with
Fine Salt (1/2 tsp)
Ground Black Pepper (1/2 tsp)
. Toss to combine.
Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until potatoes are just fork-tender.
In a small bowl, combine
Butter (1/2 cup)
Cayenne Hot Sauce (3 Tbsp)
Honey (2 Tbsp)
Once the potatoes are done, drizzle warm potatoes with the hot honey butter and gently toss to combine.
Return to the oven for 5 more minutes.
Serve warm, garnished with
Italian Flat-Leaf Parsley (as needed)
