Step 1
Separate the yolks and whites of the
Eggs (6)
into two separate bowls. Set whites aside.
Step 2
To yolks, add
Caster Sugar (1/3 cup)
and beat until smooth.
Step 3
Add
Ground Cinnamon (1/2 tsp)
and
Ground Nutmeg (1/2 tsp)
, then add
Milk (3 cups)
slowly to the mixture while beating.
Step 4
Then add
Cream (1 cup)
and
Brandy (1 cup)
and beat again. Set aside.
Step 5
Beat the egg whites with an electric mixture until you get soft peaks, then pour the egg white mixture into the liqueur mixture and fold gently.
Step 6
Ladle eggnog into a serving glass and sprinkle with ground nutmeg. Enjoy!
