Step 1
Preheat oven to 180 degrees C (350 degrees F).
Step 2
Into a sauce pan under a very low heat, add and mix the Milk (1/4 cup) , and Golden Syrup (1/4 cup) . Set aside to cool.
Step 3
Into a large mixing bowl, add in the All-Purpose Flour (1 cup) , crumbled Old Fashioned Rolled Oats (3 cups) , and Butter (1/4 cup) . Rub the mixture together. Then, add in the Brown Sugar (1/3 cup) and milk mixture and combine everything together.
Step 4
Divide the dough into two portions.
Step 5
On a floured surface roll out each dough portion. Using a cookie cutter, cut out cookie shapes one at a time.
Step 6
Place the cookies on a baking dish lined with baking paper. Bake inside a preheated oven under 180 degrees C (350 degrees F) for about 10 minutes
Step 7
Serve and enjoy!
