Step 1
Using an electric mixer, mix together the
Butter (1/2 cup)
and
Brown Sugar (2/3 cup)
. Then add in the
Egg (1)
, and
Maple Syrup (1/4 cup)
. Mix everything together.

Then add in the
All-Purpose Flour (1 cup)
,
Baking Soda (1/2 Tbsp)
,
Ground Cinnamon (1/2 Tbsp)
, and
Fresh Ginger (1 Tbsp)
. Mix everything well.
Step 3
Form the dough into a shape of a disk, and wrap it up with some kitchen wrap. Place it into the fridge for about 1 hour.
Step 4
Place the dough between two baking papers, and roll it out until it has a thickness of 1/2 centimeters.
Step 5
Using cookie cutters, cut the dough into small cookies. Bake inside a preheated oven under 180 degrees C (350 degrees F), for about 25 minutes.
