Mix All-Purpose Flour (3/4 cup), Cornmeal (1 tablespoon), Baking Powder (2 teaspoon), Salt (1 teaspoon) and Granulated Sugar (1 tablespoon) in a large bowl. Add Milk (3/4 cup) and stir.
Add chopped Yellow Onion (2 cup) and mix thoroughly. The mixture will be thick and that's what we want.
Heat 1/2 inch of Frying Oil (to taste) in a skillet over medium high heat. Using a tablespoon, drop batter in hot oil, flatten ever so slightly. Fry for 3-4 minutes on each side or until brown and and crisp. Drain on a paper towel.
Serve warm and enjoy!
