Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C) and place muffin liners in the pan.
To make the flax egg, combine Flaxseed Meal (2 tablespoon) and Hot Water (6 tablespoon) in a small bowl. Let sit for approximately 5 minutes until gel-like.
In a large bowl, stir together Whole Wheat Flour (2 cup), Baking Soda (1 teaspoon), and Salt (1/2 teaspoon).
In a separate bowl, mash Banana (4) and stir in Unsweetened Apple Sauce (1/2 cup), Vegan Sugar (1/2 cup), Vegetable Oil (1/2 cup), flax egg mixture, and Pure Vanilla Extract (1 teaspoon).
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until they are combined. It will be thick. Then, stir in Cacao Baking Chips (1 cup).
Use a scoop to place the batter into the muffin liners. You should have 12-15 muffins. Bake for approximately 20 minutes. Muffins are done when you place a toothpick in them and it comes out clean.
