I have the 6-qt Instant Pot, which is important only because the size of the pot may affect the timing. These instructions work perfectly for my Instant Pot every time.

Into the pot place: Water (1 1/2 cups), Short Grain Brown Rice (1 cup) and Kosher Salt (2 tsp). Set the Instant Pot for 22 minutes, high pressure. Once the 22 minutes is up, let the valve release on its own.
