Step 1
In a skillet, warm
Oil (2 Tbsp)
. Add
Ground Turkey (1 lb)
and cook, stirring and breaking up the turkey with a spoon, until meat is browned, about 5-7 minutes. Season with
Salt (to taste)
and
Ground Black Pepper (to taste)

Step 2
Add
Red Bell Peppers (2)
,
Garlic (3 cloves)
, and
Onion (1)
. Cook until vegetables start to soften.
Step 3
Add
Tomato Paste (3 Tbsp)
,
Chili Powder (1 Tbsp)
,
Ground Cumin (1/2 tsp)
,
Dried Oregano (1/2 tsp)
,
Canned Crushed Tomatoes (3 1/3 cups)
,
Canned Black Beans (2 1/3 cups)
,
Chicken Broth (2 cups)
, and
Hot Sauce (1 tsp)
. Mix together until well combined.
Step 4
Bring mixture to a boil. Reduce the heat to low, cover, and allow to simmer for 1 1/2 hours.
Step 5
Taste and adjust seasonings. Sprinkle
Shredded Cheddar Cheese (to taste)
over top. Serve and enjoy!
