Step 1
Preheat an oven to 275 degrees F (140 degrees C). Spray a large baking sheet with non-stick cooking spray.

Place the
Baguette (1)
on the baking sheet and drizzle top with olive oil,
Salt (to taste)
and
Ground Black Pepper (to taste)
. Bake the cubes for about 20 to 25 minutes until slightly golden brown.
Step 3
Remove the cubes from the oven and set aside and turn the oven temperature to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).

Next, season each side of the
Boneless American Lamb Steak (2)
with
Za'atar (1/2 Tbsp)
,
Salt (to taste)
, and
Ground Black Pepper (to taste)
.
Step 5
Preheat a large cast-iron skillet to medium-high heat. Add a little olive oil to the skillet if needed.
Step 6
Sear the lamb steaks for about 2 to 3 minutes on each side or until a nice crust has appeared. Turn off the heat and place the skillet into the oven to continue to cook for about 7 minutes or until a thermometer reads 160 degrees F (70 degrees C) for medium.
Step 7
Remove the skillet from the oven and place the steaks on a cutting board to rest before slicing. While the steak rests assemble the salad.
Step 8
In a large bowl combine baguette cubes,
Cucumbers (1 cup)
,
Grape Tomatoes (2 cups)
,
Red Onions (2 Tbsp)
,
Green Peas (1/2 cup)
,
Fresh Basil (2 Tbsp)
, and
Fresh Mint (2 Tbsp)
.
Step 9
In a small bowl combine
Olive Oil (1/4 cup)
,
Red Wine Vinegar (1 Tbsp)
,
Salt (to taste)
, and
Ground Black Pepper (to taste)
. Pour the dressing over the salad and toss. Pour the salad on a serving tray.
Step 10
Next, take the cooled lamb steaks and cut them into one-inch cubes. Place the cubes on the salad along with
Feta Cheese (to taste)
