Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt Butter (1 cup) until brown and nutty.
In a standing mixer, cream browned butter, Brown Sugar (1 cup), Granulated Sugar (1/2 cup), Salt (1 teaspoon), and Vanilla Extract (2 teaspoon).
Add the Egg (2) one at a time, and scrape down the sides.
Add the All-Purpose Flour (3 cup) and Baking Soda (1/2 teaspoon), and mix on med/low for 30 seconds.
Add the Candied Pecans (1 1/2 cup) and Dark Chocolate Chips (2 1/2 cup), and mix just until incorporated.
Scoop dough with a small cookie scoop and place 2 inches apart on baking sheets lined with a Silpat mat or parchment paper.
Bake in the oven for 8-10 minutes, one baking sheet at a time. Remove from oven and sprinkle with Sea Salt Flakes (to taste).
