Cooking Instructions

Step 1
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
Step 2
In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt Butter (1 cup) until brown and nutty.
Step 3
In a standing mixer, cream browned butter, Brown Sugar (1 cup) , Granulated Sugar (1/2 cup) , Salt (1 tsp) , and Vanilla Extract (1/2 Tbsp) .
Step 4
Add the Eggs (2) one at a time, and scrape down the sides.
Step 5
Add the All-Purpose Flour (3 cups) and Baking Soda (1/2 tsp) , and mix on med/low for 30 seconds.
Step 6
Add the Candied Pecans (1 1/2 cups) and Dark Chocolate Chips (2 1/2 cups) , and mix just until incorporated.
Step 7
Scoop dough with a small cookie scoop and place 2 inches apart on baking sheets lined with a Silpat mat or parchment paper.
Step 8
Bake in the oven for 8-10 minutes, one baking sheet at a time. Remove from oven and sprinkle with Sea Salt Flakes (to taste) .
