Step 1
Wash the Green Beans (4 cups) and snap off any stems.
Step 2
Combine the All-Purpose Flour (1 cup) , Baking Powder (1 Tbsp) , Kosher Salt (1/2 tsp) , and Garlic Powder (1 tsp) in one bowl. Toss to combine.
Step 3
Add the Water (1 cup) and Sesame Oil (1 Tbsp) to the flour and mix until a batter forms.
Step 4
Heat a large skillet over medium heat and coat the pan with Canola Oil (as needed) .
Step 5
Once hot, dip the green beans in the batter, then transfer to the oil. Cook a total of 3-4 minutes, flipping halfway with a fish spatula, or until golden brown.
Step 6
Transfer the beans to a plate lined with a paper towel to let the oil drain. If necessary, lightly press the beans with a dry towel to rid of any extra oil.
Step 7
Sprinkle with Sea Salt (to taste) . Serve with Thai Chili Peppers (to taste) and enjoy!
