Peel and grate
Beets (3 cups)
on a box grater. Mince the
Garlic (2 cloves)
Place grated beets, onions and minced garlic in mixing bowl.
Extra-Virgin Olive Oil (1 Tbsp)
Old Fashioned Rolled Oats (1 1/2 cups)
, and mix until well blended.
Feta Cheese (1/2 cup)
Fresh Basil (1 handful)
Salt (to taste)
Ground Black Pepper (to taste)
, and stir.
Set aside for approximately 30 minutes to allow oats to soak up liquid and mixture to set.
Form 6-8 patties with your hands
Coat pan with
Coconut Oil Cooking Spray (as needed)
and fry them on each side until golden.
Serve with selected bread/buns and toppings of choice.
