Preheat griddle to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C).
Whisk Egg (3), Milk (1/4 cup), Caster Sugar (2 teaspoon), Vanilla Extract (1/4 teaspoon), Ground Cinnamon (1 dash), and Ground Nutmeg (1 dash).
Dip the Bread (to taste) in the mixture right before placing it on the griddle. Don’t let the bread soak in the mixture for too long or it will be too soggy.
Butter (to taste) up the griddle or frying pan. You can also use a regular pan but I find that a griddle works much better.
Flip when the bottom looks golden brown. Drizzle with honey, maple syrup or Nutella® (to taste).
