Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C).
Melt the Butter (1/3 cup) in a large saucepan. Add All-Purpose Flour (2/3 cup), Baking Powder (1/2 teaspoon), Brown Sugar (3/4 cup), Egg (2), Vanilla Extract (1/2 teaspoon), Dates (1 cup), Malted Milk Powder (3/4 cup), Pecans (3/4 cup) and blend well.
Spread mixture into an 8-inch square pan that has been sprayed with Nonstick Cooking Spray (to taste). Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Cool, and cut into 16 squares and arrange on a nice serving plate. Serve and enjoy!
