To make the Idli Batter, wash the Basmati Rice (3 cups), Black Lentils (1 cup), Yellow Split Peas (2 Tbsp), and Fenugreek Seeds (1/2 tsp) all together for 2 or 3 minutes in running water and soak them for a minimum of 4 to 5 hours. Drain it completely.
