Tropical Fruit Salad with Sweet 'n Spicy Dressing

You don’t have to visit the islands to make this quick and easy tropical fruit salad. The tangy, sweet and spicy fruit salad dressing lightly coats the juicy fruit. The whole tropical salad is ready with only 15 minutes of prep and it’s so good.

1/4 cup Honey
Fruit Salad
1 Orange , supremed
1 Kiwifruit , supremed
1 Fresh Strawberries , stemmed and chopped
1 Star Fruit , sliced crosswise
1 Grapefruit , supremed
1 Pineapple , peeled and cut into bite sized chunks

STEP 1
Use a microplane or fine grater to grate Fresh Ginger (1 inch) onto a cutting board or into a bowl.
STEP 2
Set a fine mesh strainer over a small microwaveable bowl. Transfer ginger pulp and any juices to the strainer. Press down on the pulp with the back of a spoon to capture the ginger's juices in the bowl. Discard solids.
STEP 3
Add half the Jalapeño Pepper (1), Lime (1/2), and Honey (1/4 cup) to the ginger juice.
STEP 4
Microwave for 20 seconds on high. Stir. Microwave another 20 seconds or until mixture starts to bubble. Set aside to cool while you prep the fruit.
STEP 5
Place Orange (1), Kiwifruit (1), Fresh Strawberries (1), Banana (1), Star Fruit (1), Grapefruit (1), Pineapple (1) in a medium bowl.
STEP 6
Add the remaining minced jalapeño.
STEP 7
Toss the salad with dressing just before serving.
