Step 1
In a pan over medium heat add some olive oil. Add the
Onion (1)
and
Garlic (3 cloves)
and cook it down for 2-3 minutes.
Step 2
Add in the
Bacon (1.1 lb)
and cook for 3-4 minutes. Once it's been cooked down add the
Cream (2 2/3 cups)
,
Fresh Parsley (1 cup)
,
Fresh Chives (1/2 cup)
, and season with
Salt (to taste)
and
Ground Black Pepper (to taste)
. Add in some
Parmesan Cheese (to taste)
and mix well.
Step 3
Turn down the heat to low and let it simmer for 5 minutes or until the cream has thickend slightly.
Step 4
Meanwhile, cook your
Penne Pasta (4 3/4 cups)
in salted boiling water according to package directions.
Step 5
Drain the pasta add to the cream mixture.
Step 6
Stir pasta and mixture well. Serve and enjoy!
