Step 1
Heat oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C).
Step 2
In a medium sized sauce pan, melt
Butter (1 Tbsp)
over medium heat. Whisk in the
All-Purpose Flour (1 1/2 Tbsp)
and cook until smooth and bubbly. Stir constantly.
Step 3
Slowly add the
Milk (1 cup)
, whisking until smooth. Stir in
Salt (1/4 tsp)
,
Ground Black Pepper (1 pinch)
,
Ground Nutmeg (1 pinch)
, and
Paprika (1 pinch)
. Heat to a low boil, stirring frequently until the sauce starts to thicken.
Step 4
Remove from heat and add the
White Cheddar Cheese (4 Tbsp)
. Stir until melted. Set the White Cheddar Gravy aside.
Step 5
Melt
Butter (1/4 cup)
in a small bowl in the microwave, heat in 5-10 second increments until completely melted. Stir in
Ground Nutmeg (1/4 tsp)
and
Paprika (1/4 tsp)
.
Step 6
Place the bottom half of
Slider Buns (12)
in a baking dish. Brush the buns with half of the butter mixture.
Step 7
Place a layer of
Deli Turkey (1 lb)
on the buns, then a slice of
Tomatoes (3)
. Top the tomato with about 2 tablespoons of the cheese gravy.
Step 8
Break each
Bacon (12 slices)
in half, and criss-cross over the gravy. Sprinkle the
White Cheddar Cheese (1/2 cup)
over the bacon, then top with the top half of the slider buns.
Step 9
Brush the remaining butter and spice mixture on top of the buns, then place in the oven uncovered for 15 - 20 minutes until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden brown.
Step 10
Top with additional butter (optional), and serve with the remaining White Cheddar Gravy. Enjoy!
