You will need a rice cooker with a "whole grain" setting. To prepare on the stovetop, follow the cooking directions on the oats package.

In the pot of a rice cooker, stir together the Steel-Cut Oats (2 cups), Apples (2), Raisins (1/2 cup), Ground Cinnamon (1 tsp) and Salt (1/2 tsp).

Stir in the Milk (2 1/2 cups) and Water (2 1/2 cups). Close the lid and select the "whole grains" setting on your rice cooker. If your rice cooker does not have this exact setting, please refer to your model's operating instructions.
