Step 1
Core the Asian Pears (4) and Apples (4) , and chop into quarter inch pieces. Place fruit in a heavy bottom pot, and turn the stove burner to low.
Step 2
Mix juice from Lemon (1) , Water (2 Tbsp) , and Honey (to taste) . Add liquid mixture, Cayenne Pepper (1/8 tsp) , and Ground Ginger (1/8 tsp) to the pot. Cover, and let simmer over low heat for about 45 minutes, or until fruit is soft.
Step 3
Transfer to a blender for a smoother sauce. Adjust seasonings, and chill.
