Step 1
Fill a large bowl with
Water (4 cups)
and mix in
Salt (1 Tbsp)
until dissolved. Place
Chicken (4 pieces)
into the water, and place in the fridge for 2 hours.
Step 2
Preheat an electric deep fryer to 295 degrees F (145 degrees C). In a medium bowl, crack in the
Eggs (2)
and add
Buttermilk (1 cup)
. Whisk together.
Step 3
In another bowl, add
All-Purpose Flour (1 cup)
,
Fresh Oregano (1/2 Tbsp)
,
Cornmeal (2 Tbsp)
, and
Morton® Season-All® Seasoned Salt (1/2 Tbsp)
. Mix until combined.
Step 4
Dip each piece of chicken into the eggs mixture until covered. Then, coat the pieces in the dry mixture.
Step 5
Place coated chicken into basket, and cook for about 15 minutes. Let drain for 30 seconds. Serve and enjoy!
