Whisk together the
Milk (9 oz)
Paprika (1 tsp)
in a large bowl.
In another bowl, mix the
All-Purpose Flour (1 cup)
Baking Powder (1 tsp)
Salt (to taste)
. Mix the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients until combined. Cover the bowl with the batter with plastic film and place it in the fridge for 1 hour.
Take the mixture out of the fridge and dip the onion rings in the batter.
Next, cover rings thoroughly in
Breadcrumbs (as needed)
to make them crunchy.
In a large frying pan, add enough
Olive Oil (as needed)
to cover the rings and set to medium-high heat. Once hot, fry the battered onion rings until golden brown and crispy.
As the rings are finish frying, remove them from the frying pan and place them on a plate with paper towels to absorb the excess oil.
Serve with your favorite sauce and enjoy!
