Whisk together the
Milk (9 oz)
Paprika (1 tsp)
in a large bowl.
In another bowl, mix the
All-Purpose Flour (1 1/3 cups)
Baking Powder (1 tsp)
Salt (to taste)
. Mix the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients until combined. Cover the bowl with the batter with plastic film and place in the fridge for an hour.
Take the mixture out of the fridge and dip the onion rings in the batter.
Next, cover rings thoroughly in
Breadcrumbs (to taste)
to make them crunchy.
In a large frying pan, add enough
Olive Oil (to taste)
to cover the rings and set to medium-high heat. Once hot, fry the battered onion rings until golden brown and crispy.
As they rings are done frying, remove them from the frying pan and place them on a plate with paper towels to absorb the excess oil.
Serve with your favorite sauce and enjoy!
