These crispy, crunchy Southern Fried Okra made in the air fryer are the perfect appetizer or snack. All of the flavor and way less fat than frying. Once you try okra in the air fryer, you will never want to eat it any other way again.

All-Purpose Flour

•

3/4 cup

Fine Ground Cornmeal

•

1 tsp

Salt

•

1 tsp

Smoked Paprika

•

1 tsp

Simply Organic Garlic Powder

•

1/2 tsp

Ground Black Pepper

•

Eggland's Best Classic Eggs , beaten

•

as needed

Non-Stick Baking Spray

•

to taste

Ranch Dressing

or BBQ Sauce

Cooking Instructions

Spray an air fryer basket with Non-Stick Baking Spray (as needed) .

In a tray, combine the All-Purpose Flour (1/2 cup) and Fine Ground Cornmeal (3/4 cup) with Salt (1 tsp) , Ground Black Pepper (1/2 tsp) , Smoked Paprika (1 tsp) , and Simply Organic Garlic Powder (1 tsp) .

Toss the Okra (4 1/2 cups) in a bowl with Eggland's Best Classic Eggs (4) .

Then, toss in the flour cornmeal mixture. Repeat this process to double coat the okra.

Place okra on the air fryer tray in a single layer. Spray the top with Non-Stick Baking Spray (as needed) . Cook for about 5 minutes.

Take the basket out, spray with Non-Stick Baking Spray (as needed) again, and shake the basket. Continue cooking for 5 minutes. Repeat with the second batch if needed.

Serve warm with Ranch Dressing (to taste) .
