Step 1
Pre-heat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
Step 2
Add the
Ground Beef (1 lb)
to a large skillet or cast iron pan and cook on medium heat. Stir often, just until the meat begins to brown. Drain off any excess fat.
Step 3
Add the
Onion (1)

Garlic (2 cloves)
,
Fresh Parsley (1/2 cup)
, and
Bell Pepper (1)
. Continue cooking and stirring until the vegetables begin to soften.
Step 4
Stir in the
Beef Stock (1 cup)

Shredded Cheddar Cheese (1 1/2 cups)
,
Salt (1/2 tsp)
, and
Ground Black Pepper (1/4 tsp)
. Taste and adjust the seasoning to your liking.
Step 5
Place one sheet of
Puff Pastry (1 sheet)
on the bottom of a casserole dish and pour the beef mixture over it.
Step 6
Top with the second sheet of
Puff Pastry (1 sheet)
and crimp the edges. Cut a couple of slices across the top for steam to vent and bake for 30 minutes or until the crust is golden brown. Serve hot.
