Step 1
In a pan over medium-high heat, heat up
Olive Oil (3 Tbsp)
, then add in
Yellow Onion (1)
. Cook until softened, about 2-3 minutes.
Step 2
Add
Ground Beef (1 lb)
and cook for about 3 minutes, break the beef into smaller pieces as you cook.
Step 3
Mix in
Button Mushrooms (1 cup)
and keep stirring. Continue cooking for about 5-7 minutes until the beef is fully cooked and most moisture from the mushroom is evaporated.
Step 4
In the same pan over high heat, add
Tomato Paste (3 Tbsp)
and cook for 1 minute to develop flavor.
Step 5
Add
Diced Tomatoes (1 can)
,
Worcestershire Sauce (2 Tbsp)
,
Garlic Powder (1/2 Tbsp)
,
Italian Seasoning (1/2 Tbsp)
,
Vegetable Stock (1/4 cup)
,
Grated Parmesan Cheese (1/2 cup)
,
Salt (to taste)
, and
Ground Black Pepper (to taste)

Step 6
Bring to a simmer and cook until the liquid is thickened and becomes a saucy texture, about 8-10 minutes. Remove from heat.
Step 7
Serve with
Rigatoni (1 box)
and garnish with
Fresh Basil (to taste)
and Parmesan cheese. Enjoy!
