Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C).

Grease the baking sheet with
Non-Stick Baking Spray (as needed)

to a saucepan and bring to a boil. Remove from heat.

In a mixing bowl, combine
All-Purpose Flour (2 cups)

Salt (1 tsp)
. Mix to combine.

Pour the butter mixture into the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.

Sour Cream (1/2 cup)

Almond Extract (1 tsp)
into the mixture, and mix until well combined.

Pour the batter into a greased baking pan. Bake until golden brown and the toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, about 20 minutes.

Prepare the frosting by adding
Butter (1/2 cup)
and
Milk (1/4 cup)
in a saucepan, and bringing it to a boil. Remove from heat.

Gradually stir in
Powdered Confectioners Sugar (4 cups)
until smooth.
Step 10
Add
Almond Extract (1/2 tsp)
,
Lemon Zest (1)
, and
Pecans (1 cup)
. Stir to combine.
Step 11
Spread the frosting over the warm cake. Slice and serve.
