Step 1
Add
Crushed Red Pepper Flakes (1 tsp)
to a bowl with
Honey (1/4 cup)
. Microwave for 10-15 seconds. Stir to combine and set aside until your sandwich is ready.
Step 2
Mix
Strawberry Jam (1 cup)
, 1 tsp of
Lime Zest (1)
, and
Fresh Basil (1/4 cup)
together in a bowl. Set aside.
Step 3
Melt
Unsalted Butter (1 Tbsp)
in a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat. Grill one side of each piece of
White Bread (8 slices)
until golden brown about 1-2 minutes. Remove from the skillet.
Step 4
Spread the
Chunky Peanut Butter (1 cup)
on the grilled side of one side of 4 slices of bread.
Step 5
Spread the strawberry jam mixture on the other 4 slices of bread on the grilled side. Then lay
Bananas (2)
in a single layer on top. Place the peanut butter spread bread on top of it.
Step 6
Heat the remaining
Unsalted Butter (1 Tbsp)
in the same skillet over medium-high heat. Grill the sandwich for about 1-2 minutes on each side.
Step 7
Transfer to a serving plate. Drizzle spicy honey on top and serve warm.
