Step 1
Into a mixing bowl, add Macintosh Apples (3) , All-Purpose Flour (3 Tbsp) , Granulated Sugar (2 Tbsp) , and Ground Cinnamon (1 tsp) . Mix until apples are well-coated.
Step 2
Into another mixing bowl, add Cake Flour (3 cups) , Granulated Sugar (2 cups) , Baking Powder (1 Tbsp) , and Salt (1/2 tsp) . Using a whisk, stir to combine.
Step 3
Into the bowl of a stand mixer, add Vegetable Oil (1 cup) , Eggs (4) , Oranges (1 1/2) and Vanilla Extract (1 Tbsp) . Mix until combined.
Step 4
Slowly incorporate the flour mixture into the egg mixture, 1/3 at a time.
Step 5
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C).
Step 6
Pour half of the batter into a floured bundt pan.
Step 7
Layer half of the apples over top of the batter.
Step 8
Pour the remaining batter over the apples.
Step 9
Top with remaining apples.
Step 10
Bake for between 50 minutes and 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Step 11
Let cake cool before slicing.
