Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C). Gather all of the ingredients.
Step 2
Brown the butter: In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the Butter (1/3 cup) . Continuously stir. As the butter melts, it will foam and turn into an amber color.
Step 3
In a small bowl, mix together the Banana (1) , browned butter, Vanilla Extract (1/2 tsp) , Brown Sugar (1/2 cup) , and Peanut Butter (1/4 cup) .
Step 4
In a separate bowl, mix together the Dried Blueberries (1/4 cup) , Dried Cherries (1/4 cup) , Dark Chocolate Chunks (1/4 cup) , Walnuts (1/2 cup) , Oatmeal (1 1/2 cups) and All-Purpose Flour (1/3 cup) . Then mix the dry and wet ingredients together.
Step 5
Line a 8x8 pan with wax paper and then spray with non-stick spray. Pour in all batter and spread evenly. Bake for 30 minutes.
Step 6
Remove from the oven and allow to cool for 20 minutes.
Step 7
Cut into 9 squares and enjoy!
