Into a mixing jug, add Whole Milk (180 milliliter) and Active Dry Yeast (20 gram). Mix until yeast is dissolved. Set aside.
Into the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with a dough hook, add All-Purpose Flour (500 gram), Granulated Sugar (60 gram), and Egg (2). Mix until well combined.
Slowly add the milk and yeast mixture. Continue mixing until incorporated.
Add the Butter (70 gram) half at a time, then add Salt (1 pinch) and Vanilla Essence (1 splash). When dough comes together, remove it to a lightly floured surface.
Knead the dough for a bit and form it into a ball.
Cover the dough and let it rest for 30 minutes.
Roll out the dough. Cut circles for your donuts, whatever size you choose.
Cover donuts with a dish towel and let rest for 1 hour.
In a pot, heat Frying Oil (to taste) 340 degrees F (170 degrees C). You want enough oil to completely cover the donuts. Add donuts and cook until golden brown. Remove and set aside to cool.
Coat donuts with Granulated Sugar (to taste) and pipe full of Nutella® (to taste). Serve and enjoy!
