Connecticut winters can be quite cold and snowy. These are just the way to fight the cold. An overly ripe banana on the counter is the perfect opportunity to make waffles. Drizzled with pure maple syrup, these waffles will make you forget all about your nose hairs freezing when you step outside.

Step 1
Heat the waffle iron. Beat the Eggs (2) in a medium bowl. Add Banana (1) , Canola Oil (1/3 cup) , and Milk (1 1/2 cups) . Beat until fully combined.
Step 2
Add the All-Purpose Flour (2 cups) , Granulated Sugar (1 Tbsp) , Baking Powder (1 Tbsp) , and Salt (1/4 tsp) to banana mixture and stir until incorporated.
