Cooking Instructions
1.
Into a mixing bowl, add All-Purpose Flour (1 1/2 cups), Active Dry Yeast (1 tsp), Salt (1 pinch), and Water (4 Tbsp). Mix with a fork until mixture begins to come together into a dough, then switch to using your hands. Knead for 15 minutes.

Transfer dough to a clean bowl and cover with a towel. Let it rise for 15 minutes.

Into a mixing bowl, add Ground Beef (8 oz) and Egg (1). Mix well.
Press the air out of the dough and knead it a few times. Roll it into an 8-inch log, then split it in half. Cut each half into several pieces, depending on the size you want your baozis to be.

On a floured surface, roll each piece out into a 3-inch circle.

Into each circle of dough, add about 1 1/2 tablespoons of filling. Crimp the edges and pinch them together, going all the way around. Pinch the top to close, then twist it and press down lightly.

Into a pan, heat Vegetable Oil (2 Tbsp). In batches, add the baozi. Pour over Water (4 Tbsp), then cover and cook on medium heat for 20 minutes.
9.
Turn off the heat and let baozi sit for 3 minutes.
10.
Flip baozi out onto a plate and serve. Careful, the filling might be hot if you serve them right away!
