Step 1
Soak the strips of
Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts (3)
in just enough
Buttermilk (to taste)
to cover them for 20-25 minutes.
Step 2
Into a mixing bowl, add
All-Purpose Flour (1 1/2 cups)
and
Seasoned Salt (1/2 Tbsp)
. Mix together. Add
Buttermilk (1/4 cup)
and stir until mixture forms coarse crumbs.
Step 3
Coat each chicken strip in the flour and buttermilk mixture.
Step 4
In a skillet, heat 2-inches of
Cooking Oil (as needed)
to 325 degrees F (163 degrees C). Fry chicken strips for 1 minute and 30 seconds on each side, until golden brown.
Step 5
Remove chicken strips and transfer to a wire rack to drain excess oil before serving. Serve with dipping sauce of choice, such as ketchup or ranch dressing.
