Cooking Instructions

Step 1
In a mixing bowl, combine Self-Rising Flour (2 cups) , Chili Peppers (1 tsp) and Ground Black Pepper (1/2 tsp) .
Step 2
In the middle of the flour mixture, add Beer (2 cups) and whisk until combined.
Step 3
Let rest, covered for 1 hour. While you wait, peel Onions (2) and cut crosswise 1/3-inch thick, and separate into rings.
Step 4
Heat your deep fryer to 370 degrees F (185 degrees C) with 2-inches of Vegetable Oil (as needed) . Dust the onion rings in All-Purpose Flour (1 cup) , shaking off the excess
Step 5
Generously coat the onion rings with the beer batter.
Step 6
Working in batches, fry the onion rings until they are golden.
Step 7
Transfer them with a slotted spoon to paper towels to drain and sprinkle them with salt to taste.
Step 8
Mix Ketchup (to taste) and Sriracha (to taste) for the dipping sauce. Serve hot and enjoy!
