Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C).
Grease the inside of your pan with butter.
In a large bowl combine the All-Purpose Flour (1 3/4 cup), Almonds (1 tablespoon), Baking Powder (1 teaspoon) and Baking Soda (1/4 teaspoon) together.
In a stand mixer cream Salted Butter (1/2 cup) and Granulated Sugar (1 cup) until light and fluffy. Gradually add in Egg (3) and Vanilla Extract (1 teaspoon).
Next, sift in the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined, then add in the Yogurt (1/4 cup).
Once well combined, quickly transfer the cake batter into your greased baking tin. Once you have transferred the batter, arrange some Fresh Fruits (to taste) on top of it. Place the cake into your preheated oven and bake for 1 hour.
Remove the cake from the oven, and let it cool completely. Then sprinkle with powdered confectioner's sugar, if desired, them remove from the baking tin to slice and serve.
