Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C). Spray an 8x8-inch baking dish well with cooking spray.

Whisk the All-Purpose Flour (2 cups), Unsweetened Cocoa Powder (1/2 cup), Baking Soda (1/2 Tbsp), Ground Cinnamon (1 tsp), and Salt (1/2 tsp) together in a bowl.

In another large mixing bowl, stir the Dark Brown Sugar (1 1/4 cups), Canola Oil (1/2 cup), and Vanilla Extract (1 tsp) together thoroughly.
